The Reason

Our Hero – Our Little Man

Childhood cancer claims the lives of thousands of children each year. We can personally tell you it is devastating to lose a child to this disease. We created the Remember Eric Carrier – Fight Childhood Cancer organization to help fight against this deadly disease. Your contribution will help in that fight. Given the organization is a 501(c)(3), your donations are tax deductible.

When we lost Eric,

we weren’t sure we would ever be able to pick up the pieces. He was a remarkable 6½ year old who lived life to the fullest and loved his family deeply. He is dearly missed by all who knew him. He lost his 3½ year battle to cancer on November 27, 2007.

Each day

without him continues to be a battle, but it became a bit easier when we decided to turn some of our emotion towards helping to fight this deadly disease, as well as supporting those organizations designed to help those dealing with its effects. Thus, in October 2008 we formed the Remember Eric – Fight Childhood Cancer organization. Your tax deductible contribution to this 501(c)(3) organization will help research for a cure, provide needed bone marrow transplants and blood product donations, and to help organizations such as Make-a-Wish and children’s hospitals in their efforts to support those suffering from this deadly disease.

We do this

to honor our son in his short but brave life, but also to help other families who are struggling from the effects of cancer and help support them through their unwanted cancer journey.
